University of Calcutta, Kolkata: 5 Year BA LLB Course

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into BA LLB course starting from the Academic Year 2013 under the following institutions through Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta, Kolkata:

Eligibility: The candidates who have appeared or passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with subjects recognized by the University of Calcutta securing at least 45% marks (for SC /ST 40%) and the age of the general candidates must not be more than 20 years and for SC / ST candidates must not be more than 22 years (as on 1st June, 2013) are eligible to apply.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of entrance test.

How to Apply:

  • Application forms will be available at the University of Calcutta Sales Counter on payment of Rs.300/- + 20/- as centre fee (in total Rs.320/-) for general category candidates and Rs.150/- + 20/- as centre fee (in total Rs.170/-) for SC/ST/PH candidates on all working days
  • Application forms are downloaded from the given website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/admission%20notice/LLB-FORM-2013.pdf and the payment will have to be deposited in the University, Hazra Campus Cash Counter at 51/1, Hazra Road, Kolkata – 700 019.
  • Duly filled in application forms will be received in the office of the Department of Law, University of Calcutta at 51/1, Hazra Road, Kolkata – 700019.

Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test 2013: BTech in several Branches

Applications are invited from eligible candidatesof Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri  Migrants for the registration of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test – 2013 for admission to first year of undergraduate  programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech. / B.E.) in various Govt. aided and  Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities) for the session 2013-2014:

Qualification:-

(i) The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with atleast 45%  marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ Non Creamy Layer SBC” of  Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII)  of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of  Secondary Education, Rajasthan/ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Age Limit :

Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled  Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e.  SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1983 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the  Secondary Education mark sheet / certificate only will be taken as authentic.

* Date of closure for filling of the online application : April 8th, 2013

* RPET-2013 will be conducted on MAY 23rd, 2013 (Thursday) from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

How to Apply:

The applications for RPET-2013 will be accepted online only. The process of online submission of application form for  RPET-2013 shall be carried out through any of the following websites :- 1. http://techedu.rajasthan.gov.in 2. www.rpetexam.com 3.www.rpetexam.org

 

Application Form Fees:

i. Cost of RPET-2013 Application Form is Rs. 800/- including the examination fees of RPET-2013.

ii. Candidates will contact any e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan and deposit a sum  of Rs. 810/- (Rs. 800/- against Application form Fees and Rs. 10/- for e-Mitra service charges).

iii. The kiosk will generate a 16-digit Token number for the candidate using e-Mitra portal and issue a receipt containing  this Token number. Candidates are advised to keep this receipt safely with them for further use.

iv. In order to activate the online application form for entering the required details, the candidate must enter his/her token  no. in the appropriate column of the application form. The online application form will not accept entries without Token number.

 

Admission Card :

Admission Card for RPET-2013 will be uploaded on web portal of RPET-2013. No admission card will be sent  personally to the candidate. The Coordinator RPET-2013 reserve the right to withdraw the permission  granted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear at the RPET- 2013 even though the  Admission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of RPET-2013.

Examination Scheme:

RPET-2013 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in  each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one  mark each. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet will be in Hindi as  well as in English. However, in case of any difference in Hindi & English versions of question, the questions in  English version shall be treated as valid
