Management Development Institute, Gurgaon: PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM @ www mdi ac in

Eligibility:

  • The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII.
  • The candidate must have minimum 3 year’s Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June, 2014 can also apply, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October, 2014; otherwise they may be asked to withdraw from the programme.
  • The basis for computing the percentage obtained by the candidate would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution/board from where the candidate has obtained the degree/certificate. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/ institution/board from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree/certificate. In case the university/ institution /board does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by MDI by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying fraction so obtained by 100.

Management Development Institute, Gurgaon: Executive Post Graduate Programmes @ www mdi ac in

Eligibility

  • The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII.

Sponsored Candidates
Sponsored candidates have to forward their applications through their respective organizations. All sponsored candidates are required to take the MDI Admission Test to be held on December 08, 2013 at various examination centres. The tests will be followed by personal interviews. The list of selected candidates for the offer of admission will be sent to the respective sponsors in the last week of January, 2014.

Self Sponsored Candidates
Applicants are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT-2013) conducted by the IIMs in test window of October 16 to November 11, 2013. Accordingly, the applicants must purchase the CAT voucher as per the information given in the CAT announcement/advertisement and send the duly filled in CAT Application Form to the concerned IIM on or before the date mentioned in the bulletin. The concerned IIM will send you the Test Admit Card mentioning your CAT Registration Number. It is important that all applicants read and follow the instructions given in the CAT voucher. All applicants are also required to submit the MDI Application Form duly filled in.

Eligibility: 

2 year Management Program

  • Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks; with medium of instruction as English.
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium at under graduation level have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31st 2014. Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31st 2014 and submit proof of graduation by November 01, 2014.
  • All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
  • Applicants who have completed their graduation on one time sitting basis or on a 2 year basis are not eligible for the MBA / PGPM programs of IBS.

PhD Program

  • Graduation with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English and Post Graduation in Management (Full time with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Operations from an UGC approved University) or a professional qualification like CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 60% and above marks.
  • Minimum 17 years of regular education (10 + 2 + 3 + 2 or 10 +2 + 4 + 2).
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation and or post graduation have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31, 2014.
  • Applicants who have completed their graduation/ Post graduation on one time sitting basis or on part time/ distance mode are not eligible for PhD program of IBS Hyderabad.

Eligibility:

  • A candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a subject must hold a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned of this. University or an equivalent degree of another University recognized by this University Explanation – In exceptional cases, a candidate holding a Master’s Degree in an allied subject may also be considered for admission to PhD by the Departmental Research Committee.
  • A candidate having at least 55% of marks at the Master’s degree level shall be eligible for admission to the PhD Programme. For SC/ST and Physically Challenged/Disabled candidates qualifying marks shall be 50% at Master’s degree level.
  • In Faculty of Ayurveda, however, a candidate having MD (Ayurveda) degree in the subject concerned or equivalent degree of another University recognized by this University shall be eligible for admission to the PhD programme in Ayurveda.

Candidates have to complete all the three steps for their candidature to be considered for admission.

Admission Procedure: Ph.D. admission shall be conducted in two phases.

Phase I:

  • The feasible vacant seats available for fresh Ph.D. admission in broad sub-disciplines of each department shall be advertised category wise by the Registrar, initially inviting application only from those candidates with CSIR/UGC JRF/INSPIRE fellowship valid till September 15 of that year and fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in section 4.
  • These feasible vacant seats in each department shall be first filled by eligible JRF/INSPIRE applicants without any entrance test.
  • Where the number of JRF/INSPIRE applicants exceeds the number of feasible vacant seats, the seats shall be filled through a merit list resulting from an entrance test administered to these JRF applicants.

Phase II:

  • After all the JRF applicants in each department have been considered, the remaining vacant seats shall be re-advertised category wise by the Registrar inviting applications from all candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed in section 4.
  • For each department, a category wise list of eligible applicants shall be made available on the University website (www.lkouniv.ac.in). These applications shall be asked to appear for a Ph.D. Entrance Test on the date and place(s) fixed by the Admission Committee and notified by the University.
  • Based on the marks obtained in this entrance test, separate category wise merit list shall be prepared and the remaining Ph.D. vacant seats shall be filled through these category wise merit lists.

    Instructions for candidates after submission of Ph.D. Admission Application form

  • Candidates whose name will appear in the provisional selected list would have to report in the concerned department of University of Lucknow along with their all original documents within four days of result declaration. If they fail to do so, their seats will be declared vacant in the next phase of Ph.D. admission procedure.
  • If the number of J.R.F. applicants exceeds the number of vacant seats, an entrance test will be held. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the test. Dates of the entrance test will be declared after September 23, 2013.
