IBS Business School: MBA / PGPM / PhD @ www ibsindia org

Eligibility: 

2 year Management Program

  • Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks; with medium of instruction as English.
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium at under graduation level have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31st 2014. Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31st 2014 and submit proof of graduation by November 01, 2014.
  • All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
  • Applicants who have completed their graduation on one time sitting basis or on a 2 year basis are not eligible for the MBA / PGPM programs of IBS.

PhD Program

  • Graduation with 50% and above marks with medium of instruction as English and Post Graduation in Management (Full time with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Operations from an UGC approved University) or a professional qualification like CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 60% and above marks.
  • Minimum 17 years of regular education (10 + 2 + 3 + 2 or 10 +2 + 4 + 2).
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation and or post graduation have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31, 2014.
  • Applicants who have completed their graduation/ Post graduation on one time sitting basis or on part time/ distance mode are not eligible for PhD program of IBS Hyderabad.

Selection Process

  • Candidates who wish to take admission to MBA/PGPM/PhD programs have to appear for IBSAT
  • Candidates who have qualified based on IBSAT 2013/ GMAT®/ CAT score are called for the selection process at IBS Hyderabad in February 2014. The selection process comprises of Group Discussion and Personal Interview

CSIR-CDRI IN PhD programmes

Eligibility: MSc or equivalent degree in Life sciences/Biotechnology/Chemical sciences/Pharmaceutical sciences and qualified in CSIR-UGC-NET, ICMR, DBT examination for Junior Research Fellowship. The fellowship should be valid as on the date of joining for the session commencing January 2014.
How to apply: Candidates need to fill up the on-line application form that is available at the institute’s website (till 30th September 2013). After submitting the on-line application form, the system generated ID ticket may be printed and signed copy may be mailed along with photograph and photocopies of certificates of date of birth, educational qualifications and proof for qualifying JRF exam to Scientist-in-Charge, Academic Affair Unit, Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR), Sector 10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road Lucknow-226031 (India), latest by 10th October, 2013. Selection process: All applications will be screened by a committee. The committee will set the criteria for short-listing the candidates. Only those candidates who are found eligible will be called for written test/ interview/counselling at CDRI, Lucknow between 26-28 November, 2013. No TA will be paid by CDRI and candidates will have to make their own arrangements for 2-3 days stay at Lucknow. The number of students to be selected will depend upon the positions available with scientists at CDRI. The decision of the committee with regard to selection of candidates shall be final.

Applications are invited for the 20th batch of Master of International Business (MIB) and Master of Human Resource and Organisational Development (MHROD) for the academic session 2014-16 at Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi:

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as an equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admission process:

  • The admission to MIB/MHROD courses will be made on the basis of CAT percentile, GD score, and Interview score. Students will have to submit CAT percentile after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs. The candidate has to apply separately for CAT 2013 to IIMs and for GD & Interview to the Department.

Part Time) IIFT Kolkata at MBA (International Business

Eligibility:

Karnataka State Open University: Ph. D

Applications are invited for the admission in Ph. D in various courses through Karnataka State Open University (KSOU).

Eligibility: 

  • Candidates with Master’s Degree from Karnataka State Open University or any other University, with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/CAT-1 and Physically Challenged candidates) in aggregate or equivalent grade, can apply.
  • The teachers employed in University / affiliated colleges before 31-03-1992 and are continuing in service on a regular basis shall be permitted if they have a minimum of 50% of marks at the Master’s Degree level.

Selection Process:

  • Selection of candidates for PhD programmes is based on Centralized Entrance Test, Interview and marks obtained in the Qualifying Examinations in the Ratio of 50:50 and overall minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/CAT-1) and as per Merit Cum Reservation Policy.
  • Those Candidates who have qualified for the U.G.C/ CSIR (JRF) Examination / NET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship holder / M. Phil degree holder and candidates who are working under sponsored Major Research Projects are exempted from the Entrance Test. The selection of these candidates will be based on their performance in the interview and marks obtained in the Qualifying Examinations in the Ratio of 50:50.
