JIPMER, Puducherry: MBBS Course through Entrance Test

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into MBBS course through entrance test starting from the Academic Year 2013 at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry:

Eligibility:
Candidates must have higher / SSE or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 the last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – technology and Mathematics (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) or any other elective with English

Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks at the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination. For candidates belonging to the SC / ST or OBC / 40 % in the qualifying examination

Age Limit: Candidates must completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2013

Eligibility:
An applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or an examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi, or any other examination, which in scope and standard, is deemed to be equivalent to the H.S.S.C. examination of Goa Board

a. First Year MBBS, BDS and BHMS
Candidates must have Std XII examination of Goa Board or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the SC / ST / OBC only and 45% for PH category)

b. First Year BE
Candidates must have Std XII examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45%* marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology (40%* for the SC / ST / OBC only)

c. First Year B Pharm
Candidates must have Std .XII examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45%* marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. (40%* for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only)

As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, candidates passing Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi are not approved / eligible for admissions to B Pharm

d. First Year B Arch:
Candidates must have Std XII examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for the SC / ST / OBC) OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination

Applicants scoring minimum 80 / 200 at NATA will be eligible for admission to B Arch

e. Kashmiri Migrants Only in Engineering Courses:
Candidates must have Std XII examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology and secured not less than 45% marks in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology

Age Limit:
Candidates to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry and Homoeopathy must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission. No age limit, minimum or maximum, is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture

The prospectus will be available at notified places on payment of Rs. 800/- in cash

BDS Entrance 2013 @ Army College of Dental sciences, Secunderabad

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the entrance test for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery for 2013-14 at Army college of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad.

Offered Program: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Eligibility: 
No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Dental Curriculum of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course until he/she has passed qualifying examination as under:-
(a) The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education;
OR
(b) The Intermediate examination in science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
OR
(c) The pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the Pre University or an equivalent Examination. The pre-professional/premedical examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject.
OR
(d) The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects provided the examination is a “university examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.
OR
(e) B.Sc examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
OR
(f) Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.

Age: The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year of his admission
