Applications are invited for the admission to its two year Master of Business Administration (MBA-Day) and Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) programmes for the academic session 2014 – 2016 at Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata:

Application Procedure:

  • Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the IIMs Common Admission Test (CAT).
  • Candidates seeking admission to IISWBM should appear for the CAT – 2013 examination and apply to IISWBM through one of the two prescribed modes of applications.
  • Interested candidates can download the DL Form and State Bank of India fee deposit challan from IISWBM Website www.iiswbm.edu.
  • Deposit the fee of Rs. 1500 in SBI Power Jyoti a/c no. 32495656710 using the Challan in any branch of State Bank of India. After depositing the fees, candidates should collect the candidates’ copy and IISWBM’s copy of the fee deposit receipt from the bank and send the IISWBM’s copy of the fee deposit receipt along with the completely filled in DL Form to “The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Management House, College Square West, Kolkata – 700 073, India”.
  • Candidates should also e-mail a scanned copy of the duly filled DL Form and a scanned copy of the IISWBM’s copy of the fee deposit receipt at [email protected] for record purpose.
  • Or, candidates can also collect the Application Form from the reception counter of IISWBM by making cash payment of Rs. 1500, fill the form, attach copies of required documents / testimonials and deposit it on or before 6th December 2013.

Admission Procedure:
Apply and appear for any one of the following written tests:

a) Register for XAT 2014 to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 5th January 2014

b) CAT to be conducted by IIMs during 16th October – 11th November 2013.

Applicants are required to follow the XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT or CAT is a prerequisite for applying to LIBA’s PGDM program.

  • M.Sc. in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks (in aggregate).
  • A valid GATE score with rank up to 200 *, OR CSIR-UGC- NET qualifiers within the last one-year OR candidates who are offered DST-Inspire fellowship for carrying out Ph. D program.
  • Candidates who have qualified JEST-2013 with a minimum score need not send any application. They will be contacted directly by the Institute. If a candidate has scored less than 25 marks in JEST-2013 but satisfies any of the criteria mentioned above may also send the application.

Selection Process:

  • All eligible candidates, whether through JEST-2013 or through direct application will have to appear for a short written test and short listed candidates will have to appear for a personal interview.
  • Final merit list will be prepared based on the scores of both the written test and the interview.

Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management: BBA(Coop.)

Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to BBA (Coop.) for the Academic Year 2013-2016:

Eligibility: Applicants must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board in India with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in either of the science, arts or commerce streams. A relaxation of 5% would be applicable for those applying under reserved categories. Those appearing/appeared in the qualifying examination can also apply but has to submit a copy of original mark sheet and pass certificate within reasonable time. Those who have passed 10+2 earlier than 2013 must enclose a gap certificate from competent authority to that effect stating the reason for the academic gap. Condition of eligibility of any student may be relaxed only by a decision of E.C. Position of such candidate in the merit list will be from the bottom of the list prepared from candidates coming through AET UG-2013.

Selection process: The eligible candidates would have to appear in the All India written entrance examination AET UG-2013. Those qualifying the written test would be called for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview in the University campus. A final merit list would be prepared of the candidates clearing the written test after calculating the scores of all the three phases of AET UG-2013. The University may in due course also come up with a waiting list for admission depending upon the availability of seats. Calling for GD/PI would be through e-mail or sms. Therefore, each candidate must provide e-mail and mobile phone number at the time of filling the application on-line.

How to Apply:
a) Download the Prospectus from the link provided in www.argucom.org.in and read the prospectus thoroughly.
b) For applying to appear in AET UG-2013 a DD of Rs. 500/-(Five Hundred only) drawn on any Nationalised bank of India in favour of Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management, Sivasagar payable at State Bank of India, Sibsagar will be required. (The DD amount being Rs. 250/-(Two Hundred and Fifty only) for applicants of ST/SC categories). The details of the DD are to be filled in while applying online.
