Applications are invited for admission into M.Tech courses in Embedded Systems (ES) and Electronics Design Technology (EDT) for the academic year 2013 – 2014 at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Calicut:
Embedded Systems (ES)
a. The candidate should have a BE / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication /
Electrical and Electronics / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics / Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engg. / Information Technology / Biomedical Engg. / Electronics and Biomedical Engg. / Biomedical Instrumentation Engg. from Calicut University or equivalent there to as approved by the University of Calicut.
b. GATE score in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science / IT / Biomedical engineering subjects.
Electronics Design Technology (EDT)
a. The candidate should have a BE / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engg. / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engg. / Electronics and Instrumentation Engg. / Instrumentation and Control Engg. / Electronics and Biomedical Engg. from Calicut University or equivalent there to as approved by the University of Calicut.
b. GATE score in Electronics / Instrumentation/ Biomedical engineering subjects.

- Candidates can pay the semester fees as well as the application fees of Rs 800/- for general and Rs 400/- for SC / ST candidates either through DD or direct online payment or by using SBI Collect.
- DD must be taken in favour of ‘Director, NIELIT, Calicut’, payable at State Bank of India, NITC, Chathamangalam Branch (Code No. 02207).
- The application forms along with required documents must be sent by registered post / speed post so as to reach the ‘M.Tech – Coordinator, NIELIT Calicut, PB No. 5, NITC Campus P.O, Calicut – 673 601 Kerala’.
